Great Northern – The Great Shout
TO HELP QUEENSLAND OUT
In March, Western Queensland was hit hard with torrential rain and flash flooding tore through the region, forcing towns to evacuate and sweeping away livestock, fences and livelihoods.
Rural Aid was there from the beginning, working with the Queensland government to deliver emergency hay by helicopter to feed stranded animals.
Now, as the floodwaters slowly recede, the recovery effort begins. But for many farming families, normal is still a long way off.
Rural Aid continues to provide not just hay, but critical financial assistance, professional counselling, and on-the-ground support—help that farmers desperately need to get back on their feet.
You can lend a hand for our mates in the bush.
By purchasing a Great Northern Super Crisp beer from participating venues, a portion of proceeds will be donated to Rural Aid to help provide urgent relief and lasting recovery support for farmers and rural communities. See below to find your nearest venue.
Together, we can show them they’re not alone.
